ALTERNATIVE TECHNOLOGY
AT provides their customers with the capability or being self contained with water, fuel, and power. Our deepcycle battery banks and solar panels have given our customers almost unlimited energy resources to run fridges, lights, inverters, computers and recharge portable devices.
WIND POWER: AT will soon be offering portable wind turbines to provide the power needs for base camps. The AirX by Southwest Windpower is rated at 400 watts so it has more than enough power to recharge batteries and run appliances. We are waiting for the latest version of their turbine to come out, some time in June.
BIODIESEL: With the increase in fuel cost along with environmental concerns AT is researching alternatives for their vehicle fleet. Initially a diesel conversion on our older vehicles is being considered. Dieseltoyz.com has some great replacement ideas. With the reduction in emissions from running on biodiesel we are exploring it as a fuel source.
